I Bought More
I purchased my first SearBQ last fall; I LOVE it! I ordered one for a friend and another one for myself so that I can do more steaks at once for family events. It works as advertised and, in my opinion, when grilling chicken it produces perfect results every time. No more concern about chicken drying out while coming to a safe temperature. Great product!

Challenges
I’m glad you sent this request for feedback because I’ve been meaning to send you note. I was really excited to try out the SearBQ upon receipt. I’ve used it three times now in an attempt to make “smash burgers”. Unfortunately, I’ve had poor results. I’m following the directions for proper use and have even viewed some youtube clips on using the SearBQ specifically for making smash burgers. However, each time, I end up with a situation where the burgers simply glue the press together. Upon separating it, it results in the burgers being completely ripped apart and I’m left with a stuck on mess. Your materials state the SearBQ comes already seasoned. However, I’ve also tried adding some oil ahead of time to both surfaces to prevent the sticking. But still had the same outcome. Really frustrated with this product currently given the price point.

put a great sear on london broil but i prefer the flavor from fire thats why i gave up on su v also your product works great but mo fire flavor


Horrible item
There are no directions or YouTube videos on various foods. I bought a nice steak, when the grill was 500 degrees, I put the steak on and then put the top of the sear on the steak. After a few minutes, the steak was steamed and not seared. Asparagus was next and also horrible. it was flatted and not properly cooked. Very unhappy with this product.
